2026 Annual Fund Update

We live in a society that measures success by how much we consume – how much education we consume (the prestige of our degrees), how much real estate we consume (the value of our homes), how much clothing we consume (the size of our wardrobes and number of designer pieces), how many experiences we consume (the number of vacations we have taken), and even how much entertainment we consume (the hours we have logged on a video game). But in God’s economy, value is measured by what we contribute of eternal value, what we give rather than what we consume.

Mr. Leon exemplified a life of service. When he moved his family to a New Hampshire dairy farm sight unseen in the early 1960s, he did not arrive with a goal of personal gain. The Leons and Mels made a profound step of faith to build a ministry, humbly embracing every role imaginable to get Dublin Christian Academy off the ground. The fruit of those sacrifices was visible recently when an alumnus visited and spoke to our students, not about pursuing admission to elite colleges or seeking the fastest path to a life of luxury, but instead about treasuring what they have at DCA by God’s grace and about the importance of living generous, grace-filled lives marked by loving God, loving others, and advancing the gospel.

You, our prayer supporters and donors, model this mindset daily. Thanks to your sacrificial generosity, our recent Giving Day raised nearly $78,000, exceeding our $50,000 goal. This abundance provides crucial seed funding for our most urgent facility needs, allowing us to begin chipping away at our long-term $2 million deferred maintenance plan. The plumbing and roofing these funds will support are the physical foundation of our mission.

The Annual Fund is the engine that supports our operations, so we can invest in the lives of our students. To date, we have raised $245,615 (exclusive of in-kind gifts) toward our $300,000 fiscal year goal, leaving a final gap of $54,385 to close by June 30. We invite you to reach our fiscal year goal. Your gifts are an investment in more graduates—like the alumnus who recently visited—who will leave DCA equipped to give rather to consume, and to minister grace and make a difference in their future homes, churches, and communities.
