Giving Tuesday Update
THANK YOU for your generous support. Together, we have fully funded a new platform, backdrop, and risers.
The original platform, constructed in the 1960s, and reoriented a couple of years later, lasted until the Class of 1995 gifted the current platform, now about 30 years old. Thanks to your help, our new platform will serve students for at least three more decades. Imagine the impact of all of those graduates walking across that platform into the world to love God, love others, and live their lives to advance the Gospel!
GIVING TUESDAY 2025 RECAP
Commencement is one of Dublin Christian Academy’s most time-honored and cherished traditions. Weather permitting, each student’s journey at DCA culminates on the back lawn with a march across the wooden graduation platform under the shadow of Mount Monadnock. In 2020, when gathering as a full school wasn’t possible, we held individual ceremonies to ensure each graduate could still walk across the meaningful stage. Since then, the platform has taken on an even greater role in campus life. We continue to host commencement and spring concerts on the back lawn, and at lunchtime, the platform serves as a giant picnic table.
Over time, all of those commencement ceremonies and student performances have worn out our beloved platform. The current platform, a gift from the Class of 1995, is now 30 years old. With the recent growth in our student body, performances have become crowded. We need to erect a new platform to ensure that these important traditions continue to thrive. We also need to replace our worn out backdrop and risers.
We need to raise $10,000 to fund this project. Your gifts will ensure that our students can continue to celebrate DCA’s most cherished traditions in a way that is both meaningful and memorable.
Get ready to give on December 2!
