With the coming of the new year,  you may be considering making resolutions for a new you by improving your lifestyle in one way or another.
 
Well, here at Dublin Christian Academy, we are making New Year’s resolutions too! 
 
For this coming year, we plan on keeping the Dublin Christian community more informed on the goings on of the academy and bringing to light our mission and vision that guide our programs.
 
We want to share what we do here at DCA and why we do it—keeping our families and supporters connected to the heart of our school.
 
 New Year…New Blog…Big Moves
With the new year, we are excited to announce the creation of our new blog, coming to you our readers with new articles each month! 
As we mentioned earlier, our mission and our vision here at DCA greatly impact our programs – our blogs will also reflect these principles. that said we’d like to share with you exactly what those are: 
 
 
 Our Mission: What We Do
Without a school’s mission, students and staff lack grounding in the values and beliefs that constitute effective Christian education. Our mission is to:  
 
  • Nurture hearts through loving interaction that emulates Christ.
  • Train minds to develop a worldview characterized by submission to the Bible and its application to daily life.
  • Grow lives to develop Christ-like character in all areas of life.

Our Vision: What We are Aiming For

Our vision is simply this—We will use all of our resources to educate disciples of Christ who love God, love others, and live their lives to advance the Gospel.
 
“‘Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”

Connection to our community is not only a nice thing to do, our cherished supporters must be in the know to help us carry out our mission, and continue to aim for our vision.
 
Our students are at the heart and soul of what we do here. The Lord uses all of us to see His work completed as we train disciples for His purpose.
