A Guide to our annual fund
Embracing the Spirit of Giving - and Charitable Giving
Years ago, Kevin Moody, former President of DCA, began the Annual Fund to “close the gap” between affordable tuition for families and the quality Christian education that DCA provides.
Today, the DCA Annual Fund makes up approximately 20% of the school’s budget! Among the many benefits that this fund offers to DCA and its students are:
Charitable giving is a blessing not only during the holiday season but throughout the year. A great way to be a blessing to Dublin Christian Academy (DCA) this year is to consider giving to the Dublin Christian Academy Annual Fund.
Let’s discuss the fund’s beginnings, what it is used for, and share highlights about our donors.
If you perhaps have thought about Christian organizations to donate to, and God has put it on your heart and mind, we’ll show you how you can contribute as well.

Tuition Assistance for Families Not Qualified for State School Choice Programs
Although there is financial funding available to families through state programs such as NH Education Freedom Accounts (one of two school choice options in NH), not all families qualify for such funding. This, however, does not mean that these families are without need for financial assistance. The Annual Fund says, “Yes” to students seeking to attend DCA when government funding says, “No.”
Keeps Tuition From Rising
As the Annual Fund does cover about 20% of the school’s budget, DCA’s tuition at large is affected by this funding. This benefit is what helps make a DCA education accessible while still maintaining the high standards that the school provides.
Assists International Students
Did you know that DCA has a vibrant international student community? A total of 22 students from three foreign countries attend DCA—showing our mission goes beyond the limits of American borders. With support from the Annual Fund, DCA can assist international students with tuition and fees—this allows them access to a Christian education here which is otherwise inaccessible within their often persecuted communities at home.
Fine Arts, Athletics, Technology, Student Life
Who knew a single fund could support so many programs? Yes, the Annual Fund also finances:
- Fine Arts
Audio-visual equipment, musical scores, and contest entries
- Athletic Programs
Gym rentals, uniforms, equipment, and referee fees
- Technology
Instructional technology, computers, and software
- Student Life
Student activities, and hosting special speakers
As you can see, the reach of the Annual Fund stretches far into every aspect of our school and is critical in making DCA what it is today.
Annual Fund Donations: A Lifeline for DCA
“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NKJV)
It’s thanks to our Annual Fund donors—past, present, and future—that we can share stories like that found on the giving page on our website. Bethany Paquin, Director of Development at DCA, recalled the story of a family seeking a Christian education for international relatives. Thanks to God’s provision and support from our donors through the Annual Fund, children from around the world have been able to attend DCA when it otherwise would not be possible.

Even in uncertain times, with record inflation and economic volatility, our financial goals have been met because of the Annual Fund. Last fiscal year, $215,000 was raised for the Annual Fund, exceeding the goal. The capital fund goal of $50,000 was also met, allowing for the opening of two new classrooms and the Common Grounds student coffee and snack shop.
God’s guiding hand can be seen at work here at DCA, and it is through our donors that His work is being carried out. We are so grateful for our donors!
Supporting the Annual Fund
Are you feeling led to be a part of this wonderful ministry? The Annual Fund is supported by a wide range of donors—alumni, staff, family of students, local businesses, and anyone whom DCA and its mission have positively impacted.
We know why Christian education is important, and we’re excited to partner with others who also want to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ being shared and taught in the classroom.
Not only is your gift tax-deductible, but you can also allocate where the funds are utilized as you feel led. Funds can be earmarked for financial aid, fine arts, or athletics to name a few. Or your donation can be directed to DCA’s most current financial needs.

As we celebrate DCA’s 60th anniversary in 2024, we are looking for 60 donors to participate in this year of celebration and reflection. To date, we already have 24 donors who have answered the call to give and we so appreciate the families and organizations that have already stepped up to partner with us. We are truly blessed!
Our Thanks for God’s Blessing Through the Hands of Our Community
When God’s people come together as one body, amazing things often happen. Challenges deemed impossible become possible.
Without our donors—past, present, and future—many of the amazing programs we offer and the assistance available to families simply would not be available. We are incredibly grateful to those who helped make Dublin Christian Academy what it is today.
You can learn more about donating to the Annual Fund on our website or by contacting us directly.
When we invest in the lives of others, we have a lot to gain ourselves!
“Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38 (NKJV)
